At the home, we aim to care for the elderly residents in
a homely environment offering choice and comfort, whilst encouraging
independence in a stimulating but relaxed atmosphere free
of restraint and discrimination.
We aim to care for the residents as if they are in their
own home. Residents are free to use all the facilities in
the home as and when they wish.
Visitors are free to call at any time and children and pets
are welcome.
Residents' opinions are sought on all matters concerning
their care and regular reviews are carried out.
The home is regularly inspected by inspectors
from the Care Quality Commission.
A key worker scheme is employed to give each resident
a named carer as specified in the government's patient's charter.
